The track starts at the cul-de-sac at Bauhinia Street, on an dirt mound.
From the starting point it meanders on fairly level terrain, easing the rider in for what’s ahead.
The track continues to run parallel with Strelitzia Road, with a variety of bends, berms and jumps, on mostly rocky and gravel downhill terrain.
This end of the first half of the track is reached at Fuchsia Road.
As you reach Fuchsia Road you head NNW along the tarred road (direction Stapelia Road) for about 100 metres and then turn right, down the hill, to continue on the track (parallel with the N1 Highway).
Here the terrain is characterised by more trees and a less rock and gravel populated surface, with berms and jumps, as well as a rock garden (The Devil’s Plate) that marks the end of the track.
Varied and enjoyable!
